Live at the Tour de France and the Highlights of the Westalps

We are LIVE !!! at the TOUR DE FRANCE !!! The most legendary Tour de France passes lined up like a string of pearls, one highlight chases the other and then being live at the Tour de France, how cool is that? !!! We are curious to see where this route will take us, one in advance, dive deep into the legendary cycling world of the Tour de France and ride these incredibly beautiful passes yourself, an unforgettable experience awaits you!!! This year we will join 4 !!! times the Tour de France 2024. Day 1 Saturday: Arrival in the luxury panorama bus from Garmisch Day 2 Sunday: 97 km - 2590 hm We start with a highlight day! and ride over the Col du Glandon and continue to climb to the Col de Croix de Fer with absolutely great views before we move into a mega great descent down to the reservoir and ! Wait, we don't go directly to Bourg d'Oisans, we take a mega great pass with us to the old Alpe d'Huez village and jet down the sensational hairpin bends from Alpe d'Huez. Day 3 Monday: 86 km - 2150 m While the professionals have a rest day today, we drive to Alpe d'Huez, the name alone brings to mind the many battles that were fought there. We won't crank up as fast as Pantani, but the flair of the Tour de France gives us a lot of energy. There are 21 switchbacks and the most legendary climbing section in the Alps. After the fairground with finisher photos, we will show you the romantic side of the Alpe (d'Huez) and descend over a quiet, small pass through a beautiful alpine landscape. Day 4 Tuesday: 74 km - 2380 m The pros have a flat stage today, but we prefer to ride together over beautiful, low-traffic balcony roads above the Romance Valley and deep into the Massif de Ecrins to below the impressive glaciers of the 4000m, an insider tip that is super cool!!! Day 5 Wednesday: 78 km - 2320 m LIVE AT THE TOUR DE FRANCE!!!! It goes into the mountains south of Grenoble to the mountain finish of the 17th stage of the Tour of France in Superdevluy. Will the overall victory already be claimed there? Day 6 Thursday: 114 km - 2030 m While the professionals drove over the beautiful Col de Noyer yesterday, today we continue to the Lac de Serre Poncon and continue over the Col de Pontis with wonderful views into the Ubaye Valley to Barecelonette to the finish of the professionals, this will probably be a sprinter's arrival It's also very interesting to see the mega speed in the last few kilometers. Day 7 Friday: 88 km - 2480 It goes deep into the Ubaye Valley and from the beautiful south side up to the Col de Vars, which the professionals will ride this afternoon coming from the north. On the descent we can get a good idea of how the professionals will power through these hairpin bends. Who will be in the lead on this section? We then go up to Cima Coppi, this year the roof of the Tour de France is 2808 m high and how cool is that? We are on site and position ourselves in good time in an easily visible location and wait there. We then jet back to our uniquely beautiful accommodation with a billiard table and garden and watch the finish in Isola 2000 on TV. Day 8 Saturday: 126 km - 2720 m At the end there is a mega treat, the Col de Cayolle, another giant of the Mercantour Alps, it goes beautifully curved downhill and through natural rock tunnels into a pretty French village where we will spend the night, but is both our tour and the Tour de France not over yet, we approach from behind over the Col Valberg to the Col de la Couilloie, where we wait for the professionals to reach the last mountain, showdown?!!! This will be a royal stage for us too, luckily at the end it's only 250 m up and then almost 30 km down to the hotel. Day 9 Sunday: After breakfast return via Switzerland to Garmisch Impressions
